The department of Mechatronics Engineering started in the year 2009 with its main aim of producing qualified and dynamic engineers in the fast growing field of Mechatronics. The department comprises of a number of highly qualified faculties from different disciplines to fulfill the multidisciplinary objective of its various programmes. The lab and workshop facilities in the department are as under : Pneumatics & Hydraulics lab, PLC Lab, Micro Processor Lab, Auto Cad Lab, Computer Programming Lab, Measuring System Lab.

  • PLC: Allen-bradly & Simens win PLC & version-7, DC motor logic kit, Stepper motor logic kit, relay, Conveyer belt.
  • Pneumatics & Hydraulics Lab: Pneumatic Trainer & Hydraulic Trainer
  • Machine Shop: Lathe, Bench grinder, sensitive drilling machine, radial drilling machine, surface grinder, Indexing gear cutting machine
  • Microprocessor Lab: 8086 Microprocessor Kits with interfacing circuits, Micro-controller kits with interfaces, 8086 software package with interfacing kits.
  • Measuring System Lab: RTD, Temperature & pressure control trainer,
  • Computer Programming Lab: Designing software, Robotics
